Key Responsibilities:


  • Define global market access priorities for key brands and pipeline assets to ensure consistent pricing, reimbursement and access strategy across markets.
  • Develop Country Access Plans with local commercial and regulatory teams to accelerate formulary inclusion and institutional uptake.
  • Provide strategic governance and guide pricing and reimbursement strategies with country stakeholders to achieve sustainable pricing and competitive positioning.
  • Support Launch Excellence and new product launches, including biosimilars and emerging specialty products, with early payer engagement to improve launch readiness and reduce time-to-reimbursement.
  • Build relationships with government payers, insurers and healthcare authorities across priority markets to strengthen Julphar’s credibility and access opportunities.
  • Align cross-functional teams (Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain) around access priorities to ensure coordinated execution and minimize launch delays.
  • Introduce practical access frameworks and tools for local teams to standardize best practices and improve decision quality.
  • Monitor policy changes, pricing trends and competitor activities across markets to anticipate risks and adjust access strategy proactively.
  • Track access performance indicators with commercial leadership to improve pricing outcomes and institutional penetration

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with payers, authorities and internal leadership teams.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority in a regional and cross-functional environment.
  • Clear and simple communicator — able to translate access concepts into practical business actions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:


  • Strategic thinker with a strong operational, structured and thorough working style
  • Solid understanding of pricing and reimbursement systems in Middle East and Africa markets.
  • Experience with formulary inclusion, tenders and institutional access for branded generics or biosimilars.
  • Knowledge of health economics concepts and value messaging (practical application rather than academic focus).
  • Experience supporting product launches from an access or commercial perspective.
  • Ability to analyze pricing benchmarks, competitor access positioning and market dynamics.
  • Understanding of regulatory and policy processes impacting access and pricing decisions.
  • Strong analytical and project coordination skills.

Professional Experience:
10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.


Management Experience:
5–10 years in a managerial or leadership role.


Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.


Language Skills:
Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
