General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Delivery for Marine & Coastal Engineering is responsible for the overall management and coordination of marine and coastal engineering design covering the full requirements of all marine and coastal engineering projects, including reclamation, island formation, shoreline edge treatments and all marine works and relevant infrastructural interfaces. The role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all marine and coastal engineering projects, ensuring that all plans and designs are completed in accordance with the companys safety, operational, and environmental standards. This role will be responsible for several duties, including but not limited to:

  • Leading teams to designing, develop, and implement marine and coastal engineering projects.
  • Ensure efficient and timely delivery of coastal structures design & construction (quay walls, beaches, groynes, breakwaters, revetments, scour protection, dredging and reclamation, ground improvement, concrete armor protection, and marinas etc.);
  • Monitoring progress, managing schedule, and sequencing projects in a time & cost-efficient manner.
  • Reviewing and coordinating input on waterfront development master planning and marine infrastructure projects
  • Provide technical input for tendering and contract award for tall marine works.
  • Interface management with other projects & disciplines.
  • Supervise, coach and train project team members where needed.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Monitoring and inspecting marine and coastal engineering projects to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational regulations; developing and maintaining relationships with local authorities.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in marine and coastal engineering technology.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure quality control and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for the procurement of materials and services.
  • Monitor and review progress on marine and coastal engineering projects to ensure budget and program compliance.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies and processes to improve the efficiency and quality of marine and coastal engineering projects.
  • Providing technical advice to internal and external stakeholders, consultants, and contractors on marine and coastal engineering projects.
  • Comply with regulations and ISO requirements.
