Job Summary:

Our client, an international planning, engineering and architectural firm is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to be based in Dubai.



Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead interior design projects across hospitality, workplace, and retail sectors from concept development through detailed design.
    • Independently handle CAD and BIM production, including design planning and coordination.
    • Prepare comprehensive Design Development (DD) drawing packages, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
    • Develop integrated design proposals encompassing interior design, art, and FF&E selections.
    • Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timelines, and budget considerations.
    • Support FF&E specification and procurement processes, including material selection and value engineering.
    • Produce high-quality presentation materials and design review documentation.
    • Mentor and guide junior designers, contributing to team development and design standards.
    • Contribute to the growth of the studio through design excellence, collaboration, and long-term commitment.

Requirements:
    • Proven professional experience in interior design, with exposure to hospitality, workplace, and retail projects.
    • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with hands-on experience in CAD/BIM workflows.
    • Solid understanding of concept design, technical detailing, and design development processes.
    • Experience in FF&E specification, finishing materials, and value engineering.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design intent.
    • Knowledge of global design trends, regional culture, and applicable building codes and regulations.
    • Understanding of sustainable design principles, including LEED or equivalent certification frameworks.
    • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability.
    • A collaborative mindset with a strong interest in long-term growth and contribution to company culture.
