We are looking for a Senior HSE Officer with a background in construction to oversee health, safety, and environmental standards at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing safety programs, and conducting regular inspections to promote a safe work environment.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures for construction sites.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for construction site staff.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, and develop reports with recommendations for preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with local regulations and industry best practices related to health, safety, and environment in construction.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer in the construction industry.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and train staff on safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
