We are hiring Senior Electrical Engineer for high-rise building project in Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose
·Responsible for the delivery, coordination, and oversight of all electrical systems on site.
·Ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, programme, quality standards, and authority requirements.
·Act as the key interface between subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams for electrical works.
Key Responsibilities
·Review electrical shop drawings, load schedules, single line diagrams, and material submittals.
·Monitor installation of power, lighting, ELV, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
·Coordinate with mechanical, civil and interior teams to ensure clash-free installation.
·Track subcontractor progress and productivity against programme.
·Identify risks to programme and develop mitigation or recovery strategies.
·Manage RFIs, technical queries, and site instructions.
·Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and energisation activities.
·Coordinate authority approvals including ADDC, ADCD, etc inspections and energisation.
·Ensure QA/QC compliance through ITPs, inspections, and documentation.
·Promote HSE compliance and safe working practices on site.
Skills & Competencies
·Strong understanding of electrical systems.
·Good coordination and communication skills.
·Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
·Problem-solving and proactive approach to site issues on site.
·Knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority processes preferred.
Qualifications & Experience
·Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
·3–7 years’ experience with a main contractor.
·Experience delivering residential buildings including basement levels, podium/ground floors, approximately 8–10 upper floors, and roof-level MEP plant is preferred.
