Senior Design and Build Interior Designer

We are currently recruiting a Senior Interior Designer for a Design and build Contractor who specialise in commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential fit-out projects, combining creative vision with technical expertise to create exceptional spaces.
As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our Dubai studio and lead the design delivery of prestigious design & build projects across the UAE.
The Role The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for leading projects from concept through to execution, working closely with clients, project teams, and contractors to deliver creative and commercially successful interiors. This role requires a strong balance of design creativity, technical capability, and project coordination experience within the UAE fit-out market.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of interior fit-out projects across commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential sectors
• Create innovative design concepts, mood boards, presentations, and material selections
• Develop detailed design packages, technical drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, suppliers, and site teams throughout project delivery
• Attend client meetings, presentations, and site visits
• Ensure designs align with project budgets, timelines, and buildability requirements
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups
• Mentor and support junior designers within the team
• Stay up to date with design trends, materials, and industry innovations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience within the UAE interior design and fit-out industry
• Proven experience delivering design & build projects in the UAE
• Strong portfolio showcasing commercial, hospitality, or high-end residential projects
• Excellent space planning, FF&E, and technical detailing skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software (3ds Max/Lumion preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and fit-out processes
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
