Join us and shape your story with Mott MacDonald, where everyone has the opportunity to be brilliant .   About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Lead to oversee and drive the Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy and execution for a prestigious RTA infrastructure project in Dubai . This role will act as the central point of coordination between design teams, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless digital delivery and model integration across disciplines.   Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies across the project lifecycle. Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary models (Structural, MEP, Architectural, Civil, Landscape, ID) ensuring alignment and clash-free integration. Oversee the creation of 3D models and 2D documentation using Revit (Structural focus), including general arrangements, sections, and reinforcement detailing for concrete and steel structures. Ensure project delivery through Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as BIM 360, ProjectWise, and Aconex. Guarantee compliance with project-specific BIM documentation including BEP, TIDP, MIDP, LoIN, and client requirements. Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks Manage, and lead visual walkthroughs. Support 4D scheduling and simulation using Autodesk tools. Extract and verify quantities from BIM models for cost and planning purposes. Perform high-level QA/QC checks on BIM models and manage team compliance. Develop and maintain BIM templates and families for design teams. Provide training and mentorship to team members on BIM tools and workflows. Produce monthly BIM implementation reports for senior leadership. Collaborate with design leads to drive innovation and resolve technical challenges. Champion BIM best practices and raise awareness across teams and stakeholders.   Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in leading BIM on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within the Middle East. Strong understanding of ISO 19650 (Parts 1 & 2), PAS 1192, BS 1192 and their practical application. Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in digital project delivery and model-based coordination. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in BIM and digital construction.
