This role combines technical claims handling, stakeholder management and continuous improvement — ideal for someone who thrives on challenging, visible work and wants real impact. We will count on you to:

  • Lead technical casework: interpret policy wordings, assess coverage exposures, calculate recoveries, and draft clear position papers and settlement recommendations for clients and insurers.
  • Coordinate multi-party interactions: proactively drive information requests, manage insurer/reinsurer queries, liaise with TPAs, legal advisors and advocates, and escalate contentious issues with recommended next steps.
  • Drive collections and payments: prepare settlement documentation, monitor incoming funds, prepare payment requisitions, and ensure clients/beneficiaries receive timely and accurate settlements.
  • Produce insightful reporting: prepare, validate and distribute claims reports and dashboards; highlight trends, risks and opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Improve processes and systems: create and refine templates, audit claim files for quality, and work with local COE and operational teams to implement efficiency and control improvements.
  • Act as a technical mentor and escalation point: provide guidance to junior colleagues, share knowledge, and take accountability for ensuring consistency and compliance with Marsh Professional Standards and local regulations.
  • Manage operational risk and stakeholder expectations: prioritise caseloads effectively, anticipate issues, and maintain professional relationships that protect Marsh’s reputation and client outcomes.
What you need to have:
  • Diploma or university degree (or equivalent experience) with 5–7 years’ relevant experience; at least 5 years in insurance, reinsurance or financial services with hands-on claims handling.
  • Strong technical claims knowledge: policy/coverage interpretation, reinsurance notifications, settlement calculations and claims systems proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and numerical skills; confident influencing across multiple stakeholders and proficient with MS Office.
What makes you stand out?
  • Direct experience with reinsurance/cedant interactions, TPAs, or within the DIFC/UAE market.
  • Proven track record managing very complex negotiations and resolving high-value claims.
  • Experience mentoring others and leading small process or system improvement projects.
