Job description

  • Identifying and Pursuing New Business:
  • Sales Officers actively seek out new leads through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and social media. 
  • Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:
  • They develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences. 
  • Presenting and Demonstrating Products/Services:
  • Sales Officers effectively communicate the value proposition of their offerings to potential clients. 
  • Negotiating Contracts and Closing Deals:
  • They negotiate pricing and terms to secure sales. 
  • Collaborating with Internal Teams:
  • Sales Officers work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth delivery of products/services. 
  • Tracking Sales Activity and Reporting:
  • They maintain accurate records of sales activities and report on performance. 
  • Staying Informed About Market Trends:
  • They keep up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities. 
  • Achieving Sales Targets:
  • Ultimately, Sales Officers are responsible for meeting or exceeding their assigned sales goals. 


Skills

  • Candidate should have 1-2 years experienced in selling banking products in the UAE.
  • Sell entire range of business banking products to potential SME prospects & to maintain strong relationships with existing clients of the banks.
  • Sales Experience:
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably as a Sales Officer or similar position. 
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and internal teams. 
  • Negotiation Skills:
  • Strong negotiation skills are crucial for closing deals and securing favorable terms. 
  • Customer Service Skills:
  • Providing excellent customer service is vital for building long-term relationships. 
  • Product Knowledge:
  • A thorough understanding of the company's products and services is necessary to effectively present and sell them. 
  • Analytical Skills:
  • The ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement is important. 
  • Time Management and Organization:
  • Sales Officers need to manage their time effectively and stay organized to meet deadlines and achieve targets. 
  • Self-Motivation and Results-Oriented:
  • A proactive and driven approach is essential for success in sales.
