Job description
Identifying and Pursuing New Business:
Sales Officers actively seek out new leads through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and social media.
Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:
They develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Presenting and Demonstrating Products/Services:
Sales Officers effectively communicate the value proposition of their offerings to potential clients.
Negotiating Contracts and Closing Deals:
They negotiate pricing and terms to secure sales.
Collaborating with Internal Teams:
Sales Officers work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth delivery of products/services.
Tracking Sales Activity and Reporting:
They maintain accurate records of sales activities and report on performance.
Staying Informed About Market Trends:
They keep up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
Achieving Sales Targets:
Ultimately, Sales Officers are responsible for meeting or exceeding their assigned sales goals.
Skills
Candidate should have 1-2 years experienced in selling banking products in the UAE.
Sell entire range of business banking products to potential SME prospects & to maintain strong relationships with existing clients of the banks.
Sales Experience:
Proven experience in a sales role, preferably as a Sales Officer or similar position.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and internal teams.
Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation skills are crucial for closing deals and securing favorable terms.
Customer Service Skills:
Providing excellent customer service is vital for building long-term relationships.
Product Knowledge:
A thorough understanding of the company's products and services is necessary to effectively present and sell them.
Analytical Skills:
The ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement is important.
Time Management and Organization:
Sales Officers need to manage their time effectively and stay organized to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
Self-Motivation and Results-Oriented:
A proactive and driven approach is essential for success in sales.
