The Metal-Cutting Machines & Tools Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying customer requirements and delivering tailored solutions in the field of metal-cutting machinery and tooling.
The role focuses on supporting ATAD’s customers with the supply of CNC machines, cutting tools, and related technologies, while ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and value.
The Sales Engineer leads the technical evaluation phase of the sales process, acting as a key technical advisor and product advocate.
Working closely with the sales team and suppliers, the role ensures that proposed solutions align with customer applications, production needs, and industry standards.
This position requires the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, diagnose application challenges, and recommend suitable machining solutions.
The Sales Engineer is also responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales cycle—from initial engagement to after-sales support.
