Job Title: Quality Engineer (QA/QC – Mechanical / Oil & Gas)
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary

A competent Quality Engineer is required to oversee QA/QC activities for mechanical works in Oil & Gas projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with international standards, project specifications, and client requirements across all project phases.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) as per project and company standards
  • Conduct inspections for mechanical works including piping, structural, welding, and equipment installation
  • Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors for inspections and approvals
  • Perform material inspections and verify compliance with technical specifications
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and records in line with project requirements
  • Identify non-conformities (NCRs), recommend corrective actions, and track closure
  • Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits
  • Ensure adherence to international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO
  • Support project teams in achieving quality targets and continuous improvement
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4–8 years of experience in QA/QC within Oil & Gas / EPC projects
  • Experience working in Middle East projects (preferred)
