Identify and source suppliers for materials such as wood, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes, lighting, furniture, and MEP-related items.
Request quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Issue purchase orders (POs) in line with project requirements and budget.
Coordinate with the design, estimation, and production teams to verify material specifications and quantities.
Monitor and track order deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials at site or factory.
Maintain and update the procurement database, vendor list, and material logs.
Ensure all procured items comply with quality standards and project specifications.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly and recommend improvements or alternatives as needed.
Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or non-conforming materials.
Keep up-to-date with market trends, pricing, and new product innovations relevant to fit-out and joinery works.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of procurement experience in the interior fit-out or joinery industry (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, joinery components, and local/global suppliers.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and procurement/ERP software.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.
