The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion. The role involves planning, coordination, execution, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management:
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets for fitout projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and approvals.
Execution & Coordination:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of fitout projects, including site supervision.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor work progress and resolve technical or logistical challenges.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and design requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors.

Budget & Cost Control:
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs to prevent overruns.
  • Manage change orders, variations, and claims efficiently.

  • Prepare progress reports and submit them to management.
  • Ensure project close-out procedures, including handover and snag list resolution.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in fitout project management.
  • Strong knowledge of fitout works, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in commercial, retail, F&B, hospitality, and office fitout projects.
  • Knowledge of local building regulations and authority approvals.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
