We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer / Programmer to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the installation and implementation of smart home technology systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various components including lighting and curtain control,audio-video systems, home theater setups, networking, multi-room audio, CCTV, HVAC, and integrated home automation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the installation of smart home technology systems in luxury residential projects.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and clients to ensure alignment with project
specifications and design requirements.
- Program and configure smart home devices and systems including lighting controls (e.g., Lutron,Crestron, KNX etc ), audio-video systems, home theater solutions, networking infrastructure, CCTV,HVAC controls, and integrated automation platforms (e.g., Control4, Savant, Crestron).
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and performance meet client expectations.
- Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of installed smart home technology systems.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during pre-sales consultations and project planning phases.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and product innovations related to smart home technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in the installation, programming, and commissioning of smart home technology systems, particularly in luxury residential environments.
- Proficiency in programming and configuring systems from all leading brands
- Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, audio-video technologies, HVAC systems, and integrated home automation solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEDIA, manufacturer-specific certifications) are a plus.
