Job description

• To plan, organize and coordinate the project execution process on site and with the internal departments, to ensure completion of the job within specified timeframes, in an organised and cost effective manner, in accordance with the approved design and quality standards so as to meet customer’s satisfaction and maintain continuity of business
Responsibilities:
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• Prepare project implementation plan and organize such resources as men, material, tools and equipment to ensure the installation of finished products at customers’ site enabling the company to meet its contractual obligation and customer satisfaction.
• Receive quotations from labour sub-contractors, identify the most cost effective contractor, obtain approval and arrange the appointment in conjunction with the Quantity Survey Dept.
• Organize design of the project Installation based on the lay out provided by the client/ consultant and obtain approval of the design by the client so as to arrange systematic installation at the site.
• Conduct site meeting with the consultants and the client ,answer their queries, make changes at the site if required and organize additional quotations for any additional work
• To maintain all internal HSE / QA / QC procedures and maintain all schedules accordingly.
• Supervise the site at all times, provide on the spot guidance to ensure high quality craftsmanship and keep the client/consultant posted on the progress on the installation of project. Solve the problem if any so as to achieve smooth implementation of installation as per plan.
• Ensure that the quality assurance check is conducted in on the finished products before the delivery to the consultant/client site to confirm that the products meet all the specifications provided by the clients
• Ensure the handover of site upon completion to the client and obtain a completion certificate from the client that the site has been handed over to their satisfaction so as to avoid any dispute at a later stage.
• Ensure all municipal/legal formalities are complied with and completed as required.
• Ensure all Project close out procedures are adhered to
• Complete all formalities related to subcontractors in coordination with QS & Accounts Dept
• Approve the invoice for the submission and ensure that the credit is collected in full and on due date in order to avoid delay or litigation. Coordinate with QS team on all commercial issues & solve them.
• Coordinate with clients & various other agencies to ensure that the project is completed as per required standards & meets client’s expectations.
• Ensure all contract documentation, schedules and reports are completed accurately and submitted to concerned parties in adherence to the defined timelines
• Receive snag lists from consultants, arrange sub-contractors for various works, and monitor all jobs for timely completions and compliance to client specifications.
• Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles
Qualifications:
Years of Experience
• For Project Engineer 5 to 8 years experience in the construction industry handling fit out/turnkey works.
• 8 to 10 years experience in the construction industry handling fit out /turnkey works.
• Extensive know how on all site operations and should have managed sites for 2 to 3 years
