Job Summary
The Production Coordinator supports ARFF vehicle manufacturing operations by coordinating production, assembly, and material control activities to ensure efficient workflow, material availability, and compliance with ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily production and assembly activities in line with approved production plans and schedules.
Ensure timely availability and issuance of materials based on Work Orders, BOQ, and BOM requirements.
Monitor and control material movements, stock levels, and reconciliation to prevent shortages and discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of production and material transactions, ensuring full traceability in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
Liaise with Engineering, Quality, and Stores to ensure materials meet specifications and processes are executed correctly.
Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, and support corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
Prepare daily/weekly production and material reports for management review.
Support process control and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, including proper material handling and use of PPE.
Assist during internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and records.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field (as per ISO competency requirements).
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/production coordination, preferably in automotive, heavy vehicle, or equipment manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of production processes, material control, BOQ/BOM, and documentation practices.
Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
Good coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
