MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To manage the demand of business solutions across the line of business to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that deliver measurable business value, meet customer needs, and maintain competitive advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implements the defined roadmap by aligning project execution with established business objectives and IT strategic priorities.
  • Acts as the bridge between the business and internal development teams/external vendors, using Product Management techniques to understand, assess, and decompose prioritized Epics into key Features, with a focus upon Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Manages business stakeholders through regular reviews to ensure the product roadmap, delivery and on-going support metrics are as per defined expectations.
  • Oversees the delivery of the products portfolio with a mix of projects and enhancements initiatives to ensure the delivery as per agreed time, cost and scope.
  • Ensures the product changes are delivered to the highest quality by setting clear quality KPIs and measurement across the Portfolio.
  • Drives collaboration across all IT departments (Enterprise Architecture, Digital Platform and delivery teams) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Ensures all IT departments are in sync about the product roadmap through regular cross-portfolio syncs.
  • Manages external product vendors to ensure quality of service delivery and service levels compliance through ongoing service reviews.
  • Ensures the 24x7 support for all assigned products / systems and ensure all KPIs and service levels are met and exceeded as defined in the respective service catalogues.
  • Focuses on automation of manual functions and defect fixing to ensure continuous reduction of time spent in service requests and incidents allowing more time on building the product.
  • Coaches and mentors delivery teams by promoting product thinking, identifying and filling skill gaps and empowering the people.
  • Leads and manages the delivery teams defining a clear team structure, roles and responsibilities, success KPIs & metrics, cross-team building, transparency and through regular feedback and review mechanisms established in the organization.
  • Works with the team to identify and capture team driven innovation ideas, consolidating across their peer group for playback up to stakeholders with varied levels of involvement across suite of Demos, Visual Release Notes and Sprint ceremonies.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Honours in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree in engineering or MBA is preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in IT Management, Product/Project delivery and Transformation programs. Experience in leading IT teams comprising Business analysts, software engineering (development, quality testing) application, and business support
  • Airline Industry knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies
  • Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
