The Procurement Manager will lead and manage the full procurement function for retail fit-out projects, overseeing sourcing strategy, supplier management, cost control, and procurement operations. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of high-quality materials and services while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance with company policies and project timelines.
Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process for all projects, from planning and sourcing through purchase, delivery, and close-out.
Review, approve, and oversee material requisitions (MRs) in line with approved project budgets and timelines.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, lead time, and supplier performance.
Evaluate, shortlist, and manage suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and quality requirements.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and payment terms for materials and subcontracted works (e.g., metal fabrication, acrylic works, printing, specialized finishes).
Approve and issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure accurate documentation and internal communication.
Monitor and track material procurement status from order placement to delivery at factory or project sites.
Coordinate closely with design, production, estimation, finance, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project needs.
Identify alternative materials and suppliers to improve cost efficiency, availability, and lead times without compromising quality.
Oversee procurement budgets and cost control, ensuring alignment with approved project financials.
Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and cost analyses for senior management review.
Manage supplier performance, maintain and enhance supplier databases, and conduct supplier audits or site visits as required.
Ensure timely submission of payment requests to Finance and senior management with complete and accurate documentation.
Oversee procurement approvals in line with company policies and governance standards.
Ensure continuity of production by coordinating procurement-related machine maintenance and critical material availability.
Lead, guide, and support the procurement team (if applicable), ensuring best practices and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
