Our client, a diversified investment group covering multiple domains in the UAE and the region. It specializes in high-end quality products and providing the market with superior marketing solutions and is looking to hire a Procurement & Import Manager for its Automotive division.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing the supply base, worldwide market conditions, and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers on NDA’s, General Terms & Conditions, and Production Supply Agreements.
  • Lead RFI/ RFQ/ RFP and strategic sourcing process.
  • Engage with and support engineering leadership in the identification of technologies and suppliers for vehicle development.
  • Establish metrics to measure, monitor, and analyze sourcing progress and supplier performance.
  • Drive cost model transparency to understand the total cost of ownership for supplier selections.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives and identify other opportunities through benchmarking, VA/VE activities, competitive bidding, and re-sourcing.
  • Support business planning initiatives and milestone attainment.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, acting as the lead for all capital expenditure issues.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement and import in the automotive trading industry.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
