The Opportunity As Procurement Director, you will play a critical leadership role in driving procurement strategy, supplier performance, commercial value, and operational efficiency across the business.
You will oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials, subcontract services, FF&E, joinery, MEP packages, specialist finishes, and manufacturing inputs while ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and company growth objectives.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong regional market knowledge and extensive experience within construction, interior fit-out, manufacturing, or related sectors in the GCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a best-in-class procurement and supply chain strategy
- Lead all procurement activities across fit-out, manufacturing, and project delivery divisions
- Build and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and international vendors
- Drive cost optimisation, value engineering, and commercial performance across projects
- Ensure procurement processes support operational efficiency and project deadlines
- Monitor market trends, supply risks, material availability, and pricing fluctuations
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Operations, Design, Production, and Project teams
- Lead contract negotiations and supplier performance management
- Strengthen procurement governance, reporting, compliance, and systems
- Develop and mentor a high-performing procurement team
- Support sustainability and ESG initiatives within the supply chain
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience in a senior procurement role
- Strong background within interior fit-out, construction, manufacturing, or contracting sectors
- GCC/UAE market experience is essential
- Deep understanding of procurement for large-scale commercial projects
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management expertise
- Experience managing complex, multi-project procurement operations
- Excellent financial, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
