Job description

Role Purpose

Responsible for developing procurement strategies, driving supplier excellence, improving processes, ensuring cost optimization, and strengthening supplier partnerships, particularly across China and East Asia.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop procurement strategies aligned to business objectives


  • Maintain supplier database & establish framework agreements


  • Drive supplier audits, development & performance improvement


  • Lead contract negotiations & cost savings initiatives


  • Ensure ISO 9001:2015 procurement governance


  • Risk management & continuity planning


  • Procurement data analytics & reporting


  • Vendor quality approvals, validation and compliance governance


  • Lead continuous improvement & supplier corrective actions



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Business / Logistics


  • 7+ years procurement or SCM experience (automotive preferred)


  • Strong exposure to China / East Asia supplier ecosystem


  • Strong negotiation, supplier development & logistics knowledge


  • GCC logistics understanding preferred


  • Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills
