The Procurement Buyer is responsible for purchasing project-related goods, materials, and services to support operational requirements.
The role ensures continuity of supply while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Preference is given to candidates with experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry .
Key Responsibilities: Source and procure project goods, materials, and services in line with company policies and procedures.
Evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, delivery, and technical compliance.
Ensure continuity of supply to support operational and project needs.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, projects, operations, and finance) to clarify requirements and specifications.
Manage purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and resolve supply issues or delays.
Support supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
Ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, preferably within oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract terms.
Ability to work with project teams and manage multiple priorities.
Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools is an advantage.
