Principal Engineer - Temporary Work

Summary:
We are looking for a Principal Engineer specialized in Temporary Works to oversee the design and implementation of temporary structures and systems on construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, stability, and compliance of temporary works throughout all project phases.
Job Responsibility:
1. Lead the design and development of temporary structures such as formwork, falsework, scaffolding, and shoring.
2. Review and approve temporary works designs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
3. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify temporary works requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
4. Conduct inspections and risk assessments of temporary works on-site.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team on temporary works-related issues.
6. Resolve any temporary works-related challenges or issues that may arise during the construction phase.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience in designing and managing temporary works on construction projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and best practices related to temporary works.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Certification in temporary works design or related field is a plus.
