Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Expeditor with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to work on ADNOC Onshore project, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and supervise expediting of purchase orders to ensure that they are delivered/ready for collection within project schedule/purchase order terms.
  • Assistance into the creations of expediting reports in materials management system. 
  • Assist to manage the expediting process of FEED/EPC Contractor’s procurement activities 
  • Continuous expediting of purchase orders and relevant procurement activities pertaining to FEED/EPC Contractor.
  • Understands the supplier delivery obligations form the terms and conditions of purchase 
  • Ability to interpret supplier production plans to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate delivery improvements 
  • Updating of materials management system with the expediting status of Purchase Orders. 
  • Continually set expediting follow up dates in materials management system. 
  • Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly. 
  • Notifying Procurement / Supply Chain Lead of any potential schedule slippages. 
  • Maintain an auditable file of all relevant expediting documentation for each purchase order in relevant shared drive / area. 
  • Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices. 
  • Understands and aware of ADNOC Onshore Standards & Procedures
  • Participates into expediting the delivery of procured items, production progress and shipment schedules

Expected:


Knowledge, skills and experience: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (i.e. Mechanical/ Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical. IT, Computer, Software, Electronic, etc.) or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including five (5) years (preferred) in GCC Region
  • Detailed knowledge of Suppliers and Expediting Status Reporting. 
  • Awareness of ADNOC Group Standards & Procedures
  • Previous experience in similar roles of expediting within Oil & Gas EPC projects 
  • Awareness of supplier production schedules 
  • Understanding of how terms and conditions of purchase influence delivery requirements 
  • Previous use of ERP’s such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP. 
  • Qualified to ISCED Level 4/5 (Post-Secondary non-tertiary/Short-Cycle tertiary)
