Job Title: Planning Officer – Instrument
Location: Offshore (UAE)
Contract Type: Contract Hire


Salary & Benefits:


  • Salary: AED 5,000 – 6,000 (non-negotiable)

Working Hours:


  • Offshore: 06:30 – 18:30 (7 days a week)


  • Leave cycle: 42/21


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent


Experience:


  • 8–10 years of relevant maintenance experience


  • Minimum 5 years as a Planning Officer in Oil & Gas I&C maintenance


Job Description & Responsibilities:


  • Identify competencies of the execution team and assign work order tasks effectively


  • Support planning engineer in formulating training plans based on team competency


  • Maintain and update training records to ensure timely delivery


  • Plan optimum allocation of workforce and utilize wrench time efficiently


  • Anticipate resource needs for unplanned/emergency jobs based on work criticality


  • Monitor stock levels of spares, consumables, and materials, ensuring timely replenishment


  • Analyze reports and recommendations from various sources to identify permanent and temporary actions


  • Prepare strategies and task lists in coordination with relevant sections


  • Update work schedules clearly defining responsibilities


  • Review job completion wrap-up/final reports and communicate results to execution team

  • Proficiency in maintenance management software


  • Strong knowledge of Instrumentation engineering principles


  • Time management and multi-tasking skills


  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
