Planning Engineer (Civil)

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software

Establish work breakdown structures (WBS) and define logical relationships among tasks

Identify project milestones, deliverables, and key deadlines

Monitor project timelines and actual progress against baseline schedules

Conduct critical path analysis (CPA) and recommend corrective actions for delays

Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports

Plan and optimize the allocation of resources (labor, materials, and equipment)

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability

Assist in budgeting and cost tracking in collaboration with the cost control team

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure adherence to UAE construction regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies

Support contract and claim management processes

Liaise with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants

Attend coordination meetings and provide planning inputs to all stakeholders

Maintain accurate documentation related to planning, scheduling, and progress tracking

Conduct feasibility studies and support the preparation of cost estimates

Contribute to the organization’s continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and performance excellence

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction planning

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project

Solid knowledge of project life cycles, construction methodologies, and UAE regulations

Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments
