Job Summary
Thomsun Trading Establishment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piano Technician to join us
team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tuning, repairing, and
servicing upright and grand pianos. This role involves workshop-based servicing as well as on-site
support at customer locations, educational institutions, and performance venues.
This opportunity is open to candidates currently based in India who are willing to relocate to the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform professional tuning of upright and grand pianos to concert pitch standards
• Carry out regulation, voicing, servicing, and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose technical faults and execute corrective and preventive maintenance
• Conduct pre-delivery inspection (PDI), setup, and preparation of new instruments
• Provide on-site service support at customer locations, schools, music academies, and
performance venues
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Maintain proper service records and documentation
• Handle instruments with care during transportation and setup
• Coordinate with sales and showroom teams regarding service requirements
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Piano Technician (tuning and repair experience essential)
• Experience working with upright and grand pianos
• Formal training or certification in Piano Technology (preferred but not mandatory)
• Excellent ear for pitch and tonal quality
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and manage service schedules
• Basic English communication skills
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai, UA
