Summary:


Royal International Construction is currently looking for a Permit To Work (PTW) Officer to manage and control work permits for high-risk activities on construction sites while ensuring full compliance with safety standards and company procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Issue, monitor, and close work permits including hot work, confined space, electrical, and excavation permits.


  • Review permit requests and ensure risk assessments and safety control measures are in place.


  • Ensure all permits comply with HSE policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.


  • Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and HSE teams before work begins.


  • Maintain accurate PTW records, logs, and reports for site activities.


  • Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with permit conditions and safety procedures.


  • Support the HSE team in promoting safe work practices and PTW awareness.


Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Requirements


  • High School or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.


  • 1–2 years of experience in PTW systems, HSE, or construction safety roles.


  • Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and high-risk work permits.


  • Understanding of construction safety regulations and risk assessment processes.


  • Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
