Job Description

Summary
The Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator is responsible for managing and implementing the Permit to Work system to ensure that all high-risk activities are executed in compliance with ADNOC Onshore standards and organizational safety policies. The role requires expertise in PTW procedures, technical knowledge in interpreting drawings, risk assessments, and strong reporting skills.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage the issuance, monitoring, and closure of work permits while ensuring full compliance with ADNOC Onshore guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit detailed reports on PTW activities using software tools such as MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, ensuring alignment with safety and operational requirements, while identifying potential risks.
  • Conduct and document Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Field Risk Assessments (FRA) to identify and mitigate hazards effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure clear communication and adherence to safety protocols during work activities.
  • Maintain and validate all certifications, including the mandatory WMS certification, ensuring readiness for audits and compliance checks.
  • Utilize ADNOC Onshore credentials, including user ID, to manage permits efficiently and ensure seamless integration with the ADNOC system.

Qualifications
  • The candidate must have at least 5+ years of experience in Permit to Work coordination or a similar role, preferably within ADNOC Onshore projects.
  • A diploma or degree in engineering, safety, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings. 
  • Coupled with advanced skills in MS Office applications, is essential.
  • Mandatory certifications include WMS, while additional safety certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH will be considered an advantage.
