This role plays a critical part in ensuring technical accuracy, smooth order progression, and a positive customer experience by collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the order engineering process.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Local Business Partners, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to ensure selected products meet form, fit, and function requirements.

  • Verify product configurations against specifications, drawings, and service conditions.

  • Monitor order progress and proactively escalate issues to support on‑time release to manufacturing.

  • Take ownership of order‑related engineering activities through manufacturing, assembly, and BOM inquiries.

  • Support the development of special valve constructions and coordinate with engineering teams for new or revised drawings when required.

  • Assist with change order evaluations, including technical feasibility, cost impact, and delivery implications.

  • Respond to order‑related inquiries and act as a point of escalation when needed.

  • Prepare and maintain regular reports related to order quality, change requests, design activity, and right‑first‑time performance.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, system enhancements, and reporting accuracy.

Who You Are:

  • You build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • You approach your work with a continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking ways to enhance quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • You analyze information carefully, apply sound judgment when making decisions, and address challenges with a practical, solution‑focused approach.
  • You communicate clearly and adapt your style to ensure understanding and alignment across technical and non‑technical audiences.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • An engineering background or equivalent practical experience in a mechanical or technology‑focused environment.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting order processing, engineering, design, or manufacturing activities in an industrial or engineered‑to‑order setting.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Familiarity with quote‑to‑order or quote‑to‑cash processes.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience with control valves or flow control products.

  • Exposure to order engineering, manufacturing, or application engineering within a global organization.

  • Experience supporting special or engineered‑to‑order product configurations.
