We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments across on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, availability, security, backup, recovery, and high availability while supporting multiple enterprise environments.
Administer Oracle databases across Production, DR, Development, Testing, Training, and Staging environments.
Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
Manage Oracle EBS R12.2 Application and Database tiers, including cloning, patching, upgrades, and environment refreshes.
Monitor database health, availability, security, and capacity while troubleshooting performance and application issues.
Administer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Compute, Database Services, Networking, Storage, Monitoring, and Identity & Access Management.
Configure and support Oracle Data Guard, RMAN backup and recovery, and high availability solutions.
Implement database security, user access management, auditing, and compliance with organizational policies.
Support Linux-based Oracle environments and automate routine administration tasks using shell scripting.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Oracle Applications teams to ensure stable operations.
Maintain technical documentation and support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c/18c/19c/21c.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 administration.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, database performance tuning, patching, and upgrades.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Database Services and Compute.
Good working knowledge of Oracle Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or similar Linux distributions.
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, and database security.
Oracle RAC and Oracle Enterprise Manager experience will be an advantage.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch is preferred.
Oracle Database Administration Certification.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification.
Oracle Cloud Database Services Certification.
RHCSA or equivalent Linux Certification.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple databases and environments.
Strong understanding of database security, performance, and high availability.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
