About the job OFFSHORE LEAD STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Lead Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team for an ADNOC Offshore project during the FEED and EPC phases. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in offshore structural design, including jackets, top sides, and foundations, with proven experience in ADNOC projects and compliance with international standards.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead structural engineering and design activities for offshore facilities during FEED and EPC phases in line with ADNOC standards and project specifications.
  • Perform and review structural analysis and design for jackets, topsides, decks, modules, and foundations.
  • Develop and review key deliverables including design calculations, structural reports, MTOs, GA drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct structural analysis using tools such as SACS, STAAD.Pro, or SESAM, ensuring safety, stability, and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (API, AISC, ISO, DNV).
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (piping, mechanical, marine, geotechnical) to ensure design integrity and interface alignment.
  • Participate in model reviews, constructability assessments, and safety workshops (HAZID/HAZOP).
  • Review vendor documents, fabrication drawings, and installation methodologies.
  • Support offshore installation, construction, and commissioning by resolving site queries and technical issues.
  • Ensure timely delivery of structural deliverables and closure of comments in line with project schedules.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering (master's preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in structural engineering, with significant offshore oil & gas exposure.
  • Strong experience in ADNOC Offshore or GCC offshore projects.
  • Proven experience in FEED and EPC phases of offshore developments.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis tools (SACS, STAAD.Pro, SESAM).
  • Strong knowledge of offshore design codes (API, ISO, DNV).
  • Familiarity with fabrication and installation of offshore structures.
  • Good communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng/PE) is an advantage.
