Summary:
The Office Engineer (Structures) for Infrastructure, Road, and Bridge will be responsible for supporting in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering activities related to structural components of infrastructure projects. The role will involve working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
Job Responsibility:
- Assist in the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for structural components of infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design plans.
- Assist in reviewing and approving material submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs related to structural components.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams to resolve engineering issues and challenges.
- Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and other documentation related to structural engineering activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working on infrastructure, road, and bridge projects with a focus on structural engineering.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry standards relevant to structural components.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, or other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools
- Ability to design and analyze structural components for infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to road and bridge construction
- Experience in project management and coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with a team
