The high-performing Global Business Solutions Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) organization is essential to enabling TikTok's advertising business growth. We partner with business leaders in strategy setting, data analytics, sales & client incentive policy-making, driving operational effectiveness in tooling and sales processes, and ensuring productive and fruitful partnerships cross-functionally. The Monetization Strategy & Operations Manager must demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, be flexible and able to take initiative when working independently or as part of the wider team. This role focuses on Data, Strategy, Reporting, Projects. Responsibilities: - Partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to test assumptions and implement solutions (e.g. Product, Finance, Creatives, Measurement, Marketing) to test assumptions and drive conclusions. - Translate complex data into strategic recommendations for leadership. Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. - Drive reporting & analytics: Create dashboards and insightful reports and recommend actionable solutions to drive business growth. - Conduct research and market sizing of industries, business models, products, customers and derive actionable recommendations. - Drive monitoring of commercial performance, e.g., defining and tracking key performance metrics, developing performance dashboards, assessing business operations trends. - Conduct weekly deep-dive analyses on business performance, ad metrics, and product. Minimum Qualifications: - Self-starter capable of delivering on goals with minimal supervision, including strong time management skills and adaptability to a changing environment - Comfort with ambiguity and cross-cultural environment as well as a fast learner to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of unknown industries - Structured thinking to cut through complex problems and deliver simple and impactful solutions - Ability to build trust and manage stakeholders, make data-driven decisions and effectively navigate through challenges - Experience using data to create compelling stories that communicate key messages across the organization and to influence various levels of management decision-making - Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and ability to independently multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a fast-paced company - high-growth start-up, management consulting, tech platforms, etc. Experience in media, digital advertising, business intelligence, revenue strategy/operations is a plus - Experience with SQL, Tableau is preferred
