Supervise maintenance and repair activities for marine and heavy equipment at project sites and workshops.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are implemented effectively to minimize equipment downtime.
Diagnose mechanical faults and coordinate troubleshooting activities for hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
Read and interpret repair manuals, operation manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance procedures.
Coordinate daily workshop activities, manpower allocation, and job execution planning.
Prepare maintenance schedules, work plans, and progress reports for site management.
Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for maintenance activities.
Supervise technicians and mechanics to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
Conduct routine inspections of marine equipment and identify potential maintenance requirements.
Support breakdown maintenance and emergency repair activities at site when required.
Maintain proper maintenance records, equipment history, and service documentation.
Ensure adherence to HSE policies, permit systems, and safe working practices at all times.
Coordinate with operations teams for equipment availability and maintenance planning.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for workshop productivity and equipment reliability.
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5-10 years relevant experience with Marine equipments.
