Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Inspector – Powertrain
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project
Mobilization: June 2026
Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based


The Mechanical Inspector will inspect and monitor powertrain-related mechanical installation works, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Inspect mechanical installation activities related to major rotating and powertrain equipment
  • Verify alignment, assembly, installation, and quality of works
  • Witness inspections, testing, and installation checks
  • Review inspection requests and confirm readiness of completed works
  • Report deviations, non-conformities, and site observations
  • Coordinate with mechanical engineers and contractor teams
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements

Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant site inspection experience
  • Experience in thermal power plant or major industrial mechanical installations
  • Strong exposure to rotating equipment and powertrain systems

Preferred Profile


  • GCC project experience
  • Strong field inspection background in complex mechanical packages
