Job Overview

A skilled Mechanical Design Engineer is required to design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components for industrial, manufacturing, or construction projects. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality design solutions aligned with project specifications and international standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using engineering principles
  • Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using design software
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate design performance
  • Review project specifications and ensure designs meet client and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with production, project, and quality teams for design implementation
  • Conduct design modifications based on feedback and site requirements
  • Prepare technical documentation, BOM (Bill of Materials), and reports
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and international standards (ASME, ISO, etc.)
  • Support troubleshooting and provide technical solutions during project execution
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, MEP, or EPC projects preferred
  • Prior experience working on overseas or Gulf projects is an added advantage
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Inventor
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and standards
  • Experience in 3D modeling, drafting, and design validation
  • Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
