The Manager – Chassis Assembly is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all chassis assembly operations within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Lead and manage daily chassis assembly operations to meet production schedules and targets
Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations
Optimize assembly processes using lean manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and reduce waste
Monitor KPIs such as cycle time, defect rates, and equipment efficiency
Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure availability of materials and components
Supervise, train, and develop assembly line staff and team leaders
Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.)
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Prepare reports on production performance and present to senior management
Strong knowledge of chassis systems and automotive assembly processes
Leadership and team management skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering
5–10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing
Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Certifications in Lean / Six Sigma (preferred)
