SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Technician, your main responsibility is to maintain and repair equipment to ensure it works reliably and efficiently. You will follow technical guidelines and manufacturer requirements while ensuring all health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards are met.
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is based in Dubai, Al Quoz Industrial Area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute maintenance work efficiently while following standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Register and update work order data in Matrix system and support engineering projects with electrical and mechanical documentation.
- Ensure Jotun’s property and production equipment remain in optimal condition, assisting in commissioning new assets as per HSEQ and engineering standards.
- Investigate and analyze recurring or critical equipment failures to prevent future issues.
- Follow Safe Job Analysis procedures, adhere to Work Permit requirements, coordinate with contractors, and maintain compliance with HSEQ standards.
- Provide input for updating the Matrix Maintenance System, including preventive maintenance actions, standard jobs, and spare part lists.
- Support engineering projects with documentation for electrical and mechanical drawings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a minimum of a diploma degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Over 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in instrumentation is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Knowledge in using Root Cause Analysis Tools is required.
