SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Maintenance Technician, you will handle preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, troubleshoot and repair issues quickly, assist with installing and commissioning new machinery, and work closely with production teams to keep operations running smoothly. You will also follow technical guidelines and meet all HSEQ standards.
In this job role, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be based in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Dubai, U.A.E.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and utilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues promptly, performing component replacements and restoring equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Support installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.
• Monitor equipment performance during operation and coordinate with production teams to address breakdowns and maintain smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, including checklists, service logs, breakdown reports, and equipment history.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes of failures, recommending corrective actions, and enhancing equipment reliability.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Holds a minimum of a diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in instrumentation is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Knowledge in using Root Cause Analysis Tools is an advantage.
