Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment
- Monitoring the performance of machinery and identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency
- Troubleshooting mechanical failures and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintaining detailed maintenance records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinating with production and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring availability of critical components
- Supervising maintenance technicians and guiding them on technical issues
- Conducting root cause analysis for equipment failures and implementing corrective actions
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in industrial/manufacturing environments
- GCC experience will be an added advantage
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems
- Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and team coordination abilities
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices
