Job description

Under general direction provides customer support, on-site installation, diagnoses, trouble shooting, service and repair of complex equipment and systems, different quality, operational, maintenance, administrative matters. Handles complex assignments and trains junior staff. Role typically requires 5 or more years of experience.


Role Overview: As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will perform both scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on the Global 6000 aircraft. Your role will also encompass component maintenance, training, and logistics duties. This is a dynamic position that requires flexibility, technical expertise, and a strong customer focus.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft, engines, avionics, electrical systems, and ground support equipment.


  • Perform defect rectification efficiently and effectively.


  • Undertake specialist assignments including flight line and base maintenance, aircraft repairs, training, refueling, marshalling, and conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks.


  • Perform acceptance inspections on components and equipment and assist with parts inventory management.


  • Complete all required maintenance records and logbooks accurately and promptly.


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Current B1 EASA Part 66 License with at least one type of endorsement.
    A B2 license and type rating on the Bombardier Global G6000 (BD700) are highly desirable but not a requirement.


  • Extensive experience in maintenance procedures and inspections, with a strong understanding of technical reference materials (e.g., maintenance manuals, illustrated part catalogues, service bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, airworthiness notes).


  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.


  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and share knowledge and experiences with colleagues and customers.


  • Proficient in using computer-based maintenance systems and experienced in quality work according to military and/or civil aviation standards.


  • Curious, open-minded, tolerant, and highly customer-focused, with a strong ability to adapt to new cultures.


  • Security clearance eligibility is required for this position.
