Summary:
The Lab Technician for Construction Materials will be responsible for conducting tests on various construction materials to ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards.
Job Responsibility:
- Perform physical and chemical tests on construction materials such as concrete, asphalt, and soil.
- Analyze test results and prepare reports for quality control purposes.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures in the lab to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to address any concerns or issues related to material quality.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a lab setting, preferably in construction materials testing.
- Strong understanding of testing methods and procedures for construction materials.
- Ability to interpret test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a lab environment.
