Job Title: KYC / CDD Analyst Location: Sharjah Contract Duration: 6 months Level: Analyst Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented KYC / CDD Analyst to support periodic and trigger-based customer due diligence activities in line with the Bank’s customer risk rating framework and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Conduct periodic KYC refreshes and trigger-based reviews in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Review, update, and maintain customer profiles, including: Customer identification and verification information Ownership and control structures Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) Nature of business, Source of Funds (SoF), and Source of Wealth (SoW) Ensure KYC records are complete, accurate, and up to date across core banking and KYC systems.
Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for higher-risk customers, including: High-risk geographies Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) Complex ownership structures Cash-intensive or high-risk industries Assess and document customer risk factors and apply appropriate risk ratings.
Prepare clear and concise EDD narratives, including justifications for risk acceptance or escalation.
Collect, validate, and review KYC documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails to support internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inspections.
Adhere to defined SLAs and productivity targets while maintaining high quality standards.
Liaise with Relationship Managers, Front Office, Operations, and Compliance teams to resolve KYC gaps and outstanding issues.
Required Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of AML/CFT, KYC, CDD, and EDD requirements.
Practical knowledge of CBUAE AML/CFT Regulations and regulatory guidance.
High attention to detail with strong documentation and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases within tight timelines.
