As a Brand Sales Specialist - with Focus IBM Integration, you will be responsible for driving demand and sales execution across the IBM Integration portfolio, with primary focus on IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration. You will create pipeline, progress opportunities, and close deals through value‑led, client‑centric selling.
* Create Demand & Build Pipeline: Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities, developing strategies to drive growth and revenue for IBM Integration solutions.
* Progress Opportunities to Close: Build trusted client relationships, understand business and integration challenges, and advance opportunities through the sales lifecycle to successful closure.
* Specialize in IBM Integration Solutions: Develop and maintain expertise in IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, staying current on capabilities, roadmap, and positioning.
* Deliver Solution‑Led Sales: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align integration solutions to business outcomes, leveraging API management, hybrid integration, and event‑driven use cases.
* Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives, contributing to the overall growth and success of the IBM Integration business.
API Management Exposure: Familiarity with API management concepts and best practices, with experience positioning IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration API capabilities and IBM API Connect (CP4I) in hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
* Integration Solutions Knowledge: Working knowledge of IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration Platform and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (including ACE), with the ability to clearly articulate integration value propositions to clients.
* Event‑Driven Integration: Basic understanding of event‑driven architecture and event automation concepts, including exposure to event streams and real‑time integration use cases within hybrid environments.
* Solution Sales Experience: Experience in solution‑led selling, collaborating with clients to understand integration challenges (modernization, hybrid cloud, connectivity) and map them to IBM integration solutions.
* IBM Product Acumen: Familiarity with the IBM Integration portfolio and ability to stay current on product updates, roadmap, and competitive positioning.
* Expanded API Management Experience: Exposure to additional API management platforms and technologies, strengthening competitive positioning of IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration API Management in heterogeneous environments.
* Broader Integration Landscape Exposure: Experience with integration technologies beyond IBM webMethods, enabling deeper understanding of hybrid integration architectures and differentiation in client discussions.
* Event Automation & Event‑Driven Capabilities: Familiarity with IBM Event Automation and event‑driven architecture concepts, including event streams and real‑time processing, supporting more advanced hybrid integration use cases.
