MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide comprehensive insurance coordination support aimed at efficient and prompt insurance pre-authorisation activities




KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

To coordinate the activities of the insurance team


To monitor and manage approvals and submission of information between various role players to ensure eligibility and approvals are confirmed


Ensure prompt implementation and compliance with relevant insurance polices


Prepare relevant reports


Provide accurate and prompt insurance information and feedback to patients and team members


Facilitate internal training on insurance matters




REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Medical, Nursing, or Paramedical Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 




REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting with relevant medical insurance exposure




REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Facilitation skills
  • Client service and related management principles
  • Clinical Coding
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
