1. Supervise the maintenance of equipment on a regular basis and conduct pre-job checks of equipment to ensure they are in perfect working condition.
2. Supervise the operation of pipeline pigging, cleaning, gauging and hydro testing equipment, to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s safety and operating procedures and submit required reports to superiors.
3. Report all accidents, incidents, near misses or any unsafe conditions in accordance with Company policy and subsequently take necessary steps to prevent damage to property, plant, equipment and environment.
4. Ensure that staff is thoroughly aware of compliance to all relevant Company HSE procedures and emergency procedures.
5. Prepare manifolds, hoses and instruments for third party certification.
6. Mobilize pipelines, hydrostatic testing equipment and instruments with all necessary documents as per approved procedures.
7. Follow up on the daily requirement accordingly mobilize pipeline flooding and testing spreads.
8. Compliance in accordance with Company codes and HSE standards.

• High school or equivalent.
• 8 years’ experience as Instrument Technician inclusive of 5 years’ experience in sea pipelines pigging, gauging, hydrostatic testing and calibration of testing instruments and equipment.
• Knowledge of all offshore safety training requirements.
• Proven supervisory skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
