Job description

  • As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for interpreting construction blueprints and specifications to plan and execute various woodworking projects, including framing, installing structures, and finishing details.
  • Collaborating with construction professionals like architects and project managers, you'll discuss project specifications, timelines, and modifications needed during construction.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble wood components with precision using a variety of hand and power tools to meet project requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with architects and project managers to discuss and finalize project specifications, timelines, and any required modifications.

Skills

  • Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and project specifications, ensuring accurate execution of carpentry projects from start to finish.
  • In-depth familiarity with a wide range of carpentry techniques, encompassing framing, finishing, and cabinetry, coupled with a meticulous focus on detail to ensure top-notch craftsmanship.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools, showcasing precision and expertise in carpentry tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood.
  • Possesses a strong problem-solving aptitude, skilled at identifying and resolving issues during construction, and adaptable to changes in project plans while maintaining efficiency and quality.
