An oasis of tranquility carved out of the desert, Abu Dhabi Golf Club features 27 Championship holes of golf, over 162 hectares of land. The course features an undulating terrain meandering through pockets of palms, ornamental trees and shrubs with seven spectacular saltwater lakes.
Situated majestically overlooking the golf course is the iconic, Falcon Clubhouse, built in the shape of a falcon with its wings outstretched, peering over the 9th and 18th greens. As you look across the lakes from the far end of the course, the clubhouse dominates the scene. It is a spectacular, superbly-designed building that creates an atmosphere of relaxed elegance.
Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
Provide sincere and courteous service, including bag handling and club cleaning, to all quests.
Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
Attend staff meetings.
Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf
Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
Range maintenance: present practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintain ball inventory over the course of the day.
Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs, service the customer who is renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
Starts players on the first tee explaining the rules of play for the day.
Maintains an accurate starting sheet so the whereabouts of players are known.
Cues groups to move to the first tee and makes sure not more than one group is on the tee at on time.
Tours the golf course assisting players when needed to maintain the posted pace of play for the day.
Checks the restrooms and water stations on a regular schedule.
Maintains proper spacing on the golf course to avoid delays.
Completes the golfer tracking report on a daily basis.
Reminds players of the cart rules of the day.
Repairs ball marks and collects any trash that may be on the course. Replaces any hazard stakes or directional signage.
Communicates with the Golf Shop and Starter on a regular basis.
Monitors the course and ensure customer satisfaction. Assists golfers when needed.
Clean golfers clubs upon completion of play.
Previous Golf Operations experience is an asset
