General Foreman – Utilities

Summary:
We are seeking a General Foreman specializing in Utilities to oversee the maintenance and operations of utility systems within our organization. The General Foreman will be responsible for leading a team of utility technicians and ensuring the efficient functioning of various utility systems.
Job Responsibility:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of utility technicians in carrying out maintenance, repairs, and installations.
2. Inspect utility systems regularly to ensure compliance with safety regulations and efficiency standards.
3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for utility systems to minimize downtime and disruptions.
4. Troubleshoot and address any issues related to water supply, HVAC, electrical systems, and other utilities.
5. Train new technicians on proper procedures and safety protocols for working with utility systems.
6. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize and address utility-related tasks and emergency repairs.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a General Foreman or in a similar leadership role in utilities maintenance.
2. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other utility services.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of technicians.
5. Ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints to guide maintenance and repair activities.
6. Certification in relevant areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, or plumbing is preferred.
