Summary:
As a Foreman in Utilities & Roads, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction and maintenance of utility systems and road infrastructure. You will be leading a team of workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
Job Responsibility:
- Supervise a team of workers, including laborers, equipment operators, and technicians, to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute utility and road construction projects
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety standards are met and quality of work is maintained
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during construction, such as equipment malfunctions or unexpected obstacles
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and employee attendance
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foreman in the utilities and roads construction industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good knowledge of construction techniques, equipment, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments
- Certification or training in construction management or a related field is a plus
